All in all, a very poor experience across attempting to purchase 2 properties Via Elmslies. Firstly, we were told our offer was going to be too low and they wouldn't put it in. The property subsequently sat on the market for a further month (and required a quick sale) and when we tried to make our bid again a month later, we were told 'sorry you're too late on that one'. Secondly we failed to complete on a property (our fault this time) and were charged an inordinate amount for it. Correspondence and reviewing of documents can have taken no longer than an hour. We have since bought a house using a different Solicitors and it seamless and half the cost of the failed purchase with Elmslies.
