This agent is one of the worst I have dealt with. I was strung along by the agent and vendor for months. After I parted with £890 for the search ( to a solicitor recommended by the agent who also told me he would be wonderful) and the valuation fee- the agent informed me that the vendor had suddenly decided to pull out of the sale. The agent cheerfully told me that I was not entitled to a refund of any of the money that I had spent. I got the feeling that, from the very start of the process, the agent knew that the vendor was very unreliable but elected to market the property on their own website and on other sites such as Primelocation, etc. After the sale had been 'agreed' I had to ask 3 times (over a period of 3 weeks) for the property to be taken off the market before this was eventually done. I was told the delay was due to 'administrative difficulties' which turned out to be false. This also raised my suspicion that there may have been an element of 'gazumping' going on here. In my opinion if you want to lose shed loads of money then you should use this agent. If you don't then I recommend that you stay right away from them.
