I moved into a property and had numerous issues, the biggest one was the house had been used as a cannabis farm and the house reached of the smell. I had no alarm working , no heating working, garage no key, toilet overflowed, the chimney stack had been removed by the previous owners and the house was now open to all the elements and it was the coldest week of the year , snowing also. Trying to get these rectified has been a nightmare , no reply from phone calls or email, had to go into the office and speak to somebody , yet problems still are not fixed 3 months later. had to move out for 5 weeks, because of the smell and when i told them i was not paying for the time i had not lived there, i get numerous threatening responses , they will take me to court. It is amazing how they can respond when money is involved. Came home yesterday after 3 days away and the heating is not working or hot water, tried to call , text the emergency number and after 12 hrs no response. We had to sleep on my sisters floor and put the kids in her spare room. This company is a JOKE.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
