Very terrible experience with this agency. No respect to potential tenant. During viewing I was asked to remove shoes, which I find logical since I am not walking around my own house with shoes on and I understand that landlord might not want dirt from outside in his/hers property. However property was just finished and floor was full of post construction dust. Lady from this letting agency was already provided with shoe covers, while my socks were collecting all this dust just to dirty my shoes inside. When I have decided to apply to a property, they have kept me disinformed whether or not I can move in, made qualifying tournament type situation treating this like some kind of free of charge reward to the chosen one lucky to live in such property. Later on nobody bothered to contact me on time that was given to me as time of decision whether I qualified or not. The lady that I was taken "care" of had some sort forced politeness and very negative body language. Next week from appointed time I was contacted by a gentleman who stated that I did not qualify providing no reason. The thing I wonder now is whether this situation with decision and attitude was because I am foreign. I would like to also point that I did not even qualify to referencing stage so I can't even tell what was wrong with me. Was it my name? Last name? Date of Birth? Nationality? It felt like I was too primitive foreigner to live in their "modern residence", and kept me as reserve in case nobody worthy would appear.
