I have recently rented a property through Martin & co Newark and I would just like to say how fantastic and helpful all the staff were. It's all too easy to leave bad reviews these days so thought I would change that after such great service. A big thank you to Lucy who managed to get all my maininance issues sorted. Thank you guys. Being a landlord this company are totally inept and untrustworthy, they failed to honour instructions allowing tenants to keep dogs who peed and pooed in the kitchen and failed to notice. Newark Martin and Co. headed by Philip Connor are absolutely wonderful. They are honest and trustworthy, always look after the property and anything that the property needs is done straightaway, so the tenants have no trouble at all! My experience of Martin and Co. (Nottingham branch) as a letting agency is very poor. They seem to work very short days and have long lunch breaks, so it is difficult to get through on the telephone.
