Source Property may seem like a good value estate agent but there are hidden costs. I expected a bill of £999 from them for selling a house but the bill had an extra £200 added, why? £200 added for Source Property agent showing viewers around house(this is not advertised on their website nor was it agreed). Source Property claim to be cheaper than others but with the hidden costs we ended up paying more than we would have if we went elsewhere locally.

1 Nov 2017I am disappointed to see this review from a family member of a client, for whom we sold their property and they subsequently purchased another sold by ourselves (terrible agents!). Our fees and services are advertised on our site, within our terms of business and agreed with clients upfront. We do not include viewings in order to keep our standard fees as low as possible (our website confirms what is included). Clients have the option to carry out all viewings themselves in order to avoid the viewing fee but we are happy to conduct viewings if the client wants us too. In this case we carried out the viewings. We also have a lower fee package than the one that was chosen (also advertised on our site). We can guarantee that no local agent will offer a better or cheaper like for like service and we are so confident that we will price match any genuine written offer, when bringing a property to the market.

6 Nov 2017I was 50% owner of sold property, paid 50% of the fees and all decision about selling the house were made by myself. I was the buyer of the new property as well......but you already knew that. "Terrible Agents", your words not mine. Up until the additional charge appearing on our bill we had no complaints( why would we,house sold for asking price, I was happy with the flat I bought through your company and you were always on the end of the phone if needed). The only reason for poor review is the extra charge. We took your Gold package which cost £249(admin fee) and 0.6% sales fee(£750). On the webpage where you advertise this deal it does not mention any additional costs nor did you mention to me or my father that having you deal with viewings would incur additional charges of £200. So our bill according to your website should have been £999 but it was £1199. I think anybody who would have this charge added to their bill( without being consulted) would be unhappy. So when I phoned you about it your response was "that's the price". In my opinion the prices on your website are misleading. I have written this review so that any potential customers know about this additional charge before choosing Source Property because if I had known about the additional charge I would have used another estate agent.

21 Nov 2018I can assure this gentleman after having 4 local Estate agents quotes you would not have found a cheaper fee , the cheapest I was quoted was £1900 to sell a 170,000 pounds house..
