I have been extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this company. There is very little communication with clients about important matters and what steps are being taken to remedy them. For example: no communication (until initiated by a resident) about broken security cameras in properties, attempted theft in shared areas, lifts broken for several days with no information about repairs. I feel it is important for residents who pay for this service to be kept up to date about significant issues in a shared block. For the amount we pay this service is not good enough. Since writing this post I have had another example of the difficulties of dealing with Islington properties. I wrote to them about a leak coming from the flat or balcony above causing water damage to one of my bedrooms. They have said they will investigate this asap but 'Unfortunately our contractors are extremely busy at the moment due to the rain and also a lot of staff are on annual leave'. I also note that the company cannot locate me on their system despite the numerous calls and emails I have made to them. I shall write again reminding them of why I pay them service charge. They seem to be able to locate my cheques even if they 'cannot find me on their system'. And a month later I am adding to this again - the sole lift in this block of flats breaks down several times a year. We have now almost had one week without a lift. I have also waited three weeks to hear about the damage assessment of a leak from the property upstairs. UNACCEPTABLEo

i guess like everyone my issue is the fees one still pays when the tenant doesn't change, this however, is the way the market currently works
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
