Weird little agency, not should why vendors would use them, leave buyers in completely darkness, process of sales and offer making has no logic.

26 Nov 2017Hi Nigel, thanks for reaching out. The experience with your negotiator Cliff wasn't pleasant. First of all, he wasn't informative about other offers which our understanding were only 2 offers for the property; Secondly, we wanted to make a higher bid but was rejected by him as he quoted "sometimes is not just about money". We found the comment pathetic - it is of course about money, we were prepared to go 20 grand higher than the asking price which didn't even have had a chance to be heard by the vendor. How we suppose to be happy about it??

6 Dec 2017Hi Dave I have taken on board your comments. As agents we have to take our clients instructions regarding any offers that we receive. On this occasion our clients asked us to proceed with an alternative offer, even though it WAS LOWER THAN YOUR OFFER. In fairness, you did not suggest that you would go £20,000 higher, the best offer you gave us was £5,000 higher. I am sorry that you feel the way that you do, but as I have said, we are obliged to take clients instructions. Nigel

7 Dec 2017Hi Nigel, thanks for your comments and I appreciate you take the reviews seriously! To correct what you said - I was definitely prepared to go 20,000 higher but I WASN'T well informed of the situation by the negotiator, you can't just say ok I will pay 20000 more now on an asking price can you? And WASN'T even given the chance in the end(2nd round) and I thought at least the chance should be given, or the information ought to be passed onto vendor. This was wrong fundamentally! Again I appreciate you took my review on board and I hope you understood my frustration of how things was handled. Please let me know if you need any further information.

We submitted an offer on a house and Nigel was very unhelpful, patronising and rude which resulting in us feeling we had no choice other than to withdraw our offer!
