Sadly disappointed after having long term relationship to be lied to miss lead references not followed up properly,no final inspection completed using under par cleaners and damages beyond comprehension.
Agent fees were fair but no good if no rent received

4 Jul 2019Sometimes letting your home can be stressful and some tenants can be unpredictable. This particular tenant passed referencing, which were, all followed up properly, with our external referencing company, a comprehensive 'accept' was issued which allowed us to provide a "rent guarantee policy" on behalf of the landlord for this property . When the tenant stopped paying her rent every effort was made by this office to facilitate payments, even chasing for rent on Christmas Eve & Boxing day! Unfortunately our efforts were in vain, however the rent protection policy was activated and rent was paid to the landlord until the day we managed to give back a vacant property. We liaised with solicitors throughout, attended court and managed to get every penny of rent owed as well as money from the deposit for work required. Despite our inspections every three months and constant warnings to the tenant regarding the condition of the property, we can not physically control how someone lives in a property. I agree, it was left in a unacceptable state and I can sympathise with the unhappy landlord with regards to this. I believe this review was written at a time of frustration and anger and since this review we have dealt with this client again, thankfully with a happier ending.
