AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Christies were reluctant to deal with a tenant in our student house who had threatened to kill us. They then proceeded to deduct £325 from our deposits for locks put on the door to prevent this individual from returning to the property. £300 cleaning fee was also deducted for no apparent reason. Believe me when I say to avoid Christies letting agents, you'll save a fortune.

13 Sept 2020AVOID AT ALL COSTS - especially students. Absolute rip off, no communication and lies. We cleaned the house before we moved out and at 9am on that day (clearly not checked) a cleaner turned up and we were charged for 12 hours... landlord blocked our phone numbers till we threatened court and the house was a STATE to begin with, no issues addressed, don’t feel like we were really treated as people.

Absolutely and completely unprofessional, multiple promises to fix a leaking toilet, landlord would enter the house without permission or prior knowledge and comment on how we live and be rude to us!
