Report him to the police. Many other people have. If you signed a tenancy agreement then the landlord is legally responsible for the deposit so you should ba able to claim it from them. They will then have to pursue Darren for it.

He said he can only send the money by check, and he will be sending it within 14 days. We didnt recieve ANYTHING. He ran off with both our deposit and 3 months rent from our landlord and then had the cheek to still send us a payment request for a tenancy renewal - Darren if your reading this 'ARE YOU MAD?' - DO NOT GO NEAR THIS AGENT!!!!!!!!!!! - I hope you get your commuppence - cant see how you are getting away with this.
