This is from my own experience with them, many customers may have more positive things to say. Whenever I had any problems with the property, it took a long time for anyone to chase up. At least a few emails or phone calls, before anything was done. There was a damp problem with the property, granted not their fault but I always alerted them to problems straight away, but it was very frustrating that it was never dealt with in a more timely manner. Some of my personal possessions were damaged beyond repair because of how long they took. I had originally paid an extra deposit because I was a dog owner. They had kindly agreed that I could keep a pet on the premises if I paid more on my deposit. Roughly around 700 more. They gave me a receipt, which I kept, but they never amended the contract of the full amount of the deposit. So when it came to moving out day, I produced this receipt. Which said I paid a 1700 deposit. Cut a long story short, I have never received that 700 back only the 1040 standard deposit. I was told they would have to look back on their previous paperwork to check this. I've not heard from them since. I've sent them numerous emails, but they haven't replied. It's like they don't want anything to do with a client once they've left. It's a disgrace. I always thought of myself as the perfect tenant. Anyway, lesson learned all be it an expensive one. My advice to others is when you sign that contract have any extras, like pets or paying extra deposits written into that contract. A receipt of extra payment and an agent saying oh don't worry about that, we can add that later is definitely not enough.

It sold quickly and then our buyers disappeared off the face of the earth! EA were straight on it, remarketed flat and had another buyer within days. They... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
A copy of the complaints procedure is available on request.
