The property has been fraught with issues, only some of which have been listed below. Due to mismanagement our property was also burgled with no further security measures taken post the event. As per the contract, the structure of the building is not appropriate. There is a huge gap in the ceiling of the flat near the cooker hood and due to renovations taking place in the flat above us, there are stones and rubble falling through onto the stove where food is cooked. This is a health hazard as potentially harmful chemicals are falling into our food which has led to us and particularly my wife falling ill on several occasions due to allergies to dust particles. We have provided sufficient notice for this to be fixed yet no action has been taken. The condition of the ceiling has also been deemed unsafe by engineers who visited the property to inspect the structural flaw. We also do not have access to the communal gardens. The contract states that full access must be provided to all areas of the property and one of the main reasons for accepting the contract was access to the communal garden. We were initially provided keys to the garden late (6 months into the contract) and again do not have access now to the garden since the last 6 months due to access being revoked. This is despite a 50� deposit we have paid for access to the communal garden Crucially we do not feel safe in this property. As mentioned we were burgled on 18th January due to negligence on the part of building management for not ensuring proper working of the main front door. This is despite us notifying property management about issues with the front door. The property is also not consistent with other flats in the building that have triple lock doors which provides extra level of safety. The property door only has one additional lock as compared to other flats in the building that have three locks in total that are strategically placed to avoid burglars breaking in. The door to this property was smashed down and completely detached from the hinges. We are now being forced by the owners to continue living in this unsafe environment. Furthermore we received agreement via email from property management and lettings to leave the property post the burglary and upon finding a new property to move to the owners have now retracted from their earlier agreement. We also paid an early vacation fee that was demanded of us to end the tenancy that was to go towards re-advertising the property for new replacement tenants however the owners have receded on their agreement ever since we made this payment and now we are forced to continue living at the property where we feel extremely unsafe. We are psychologically being harassed by having to live at this place causing unnecessary mental distress that leads to nervous breakdowns at the slightest noise which gets us startled. We no longer feel safe in our own home due to the fact that it was so poorly managed by the building management. Our mental state further deteriorates with each passing day.

4 Aug 2017This is spot on!!!!! They are absolutely shocking. I wish I could go back in time and NEVER go near them again. It's funny that customer relations are asking you to email them. They never care either! The whole company is a sham. Its also scary how many people seem to have had serious issues with works being done and getting burgled.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
