Having regularly used Clyde Property in the past, I felt it time to switch for a more personal one to one service. I have to say, I was happy with Clyde Property, but felt they were taking my business for granted, and not providing the service they should. Gregor and Janet at Ian Grays office are definitely an 'old school', or 'traditional' Real Estate Agent. They sold my house for 5k more than I wanted, and advised not to lower the price when I wanted to. Clyde would definitely have lowered it. The difference between the two is clear. Gregor really works hard to get the best price for the client. Definitely not a natural salesman, he comes across shy at times, but his marketing, professionalism, integrity, his time for others is there in abundance. I buy/sell houses as a part time hobby/full time job. For those who have the bug for flipping, you'll understand what I mean! Anyway, for anyone looking for a no bullshit Estate Agent, that wont promise you something different once you've signed the contract, I wholeheartedly would recommend Ian Gray Estate Agents
Typical fees are £175+vat marketing upfront fee And 1% + vat on conclusion of sale This is typical of local market, but these prices are definitely negotiable. I pay a lot less

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
