We bought an investment property through Stuart at Amber Court Lettings. We've been really impressed by Stuart's professionalism as well as the rest of the small team at Amber Court. The fact that they are small is what what appeals to us. They are passionate about what they do. We have a small property portfolio which we have always managed by ourselves because we do not feel most estate agents provided value for money. However, over the last 6 months, having gotten to know Stuart and his team, we have trusted them enough to let them takeover the management of one of our properties. If things go well, which we anticipate they will do, we intend to hand over all our properties for them to manage, freeing up time for us to focus on other projects. We've dealt with countless estate agents around the country and Amber Court is the first we have been impressed with. We have also dealt with the majority of agents in Birmingham and every single one left us thinking that the whole industry is in dire need of regulation to drive up standards and professionalism. Avoid the large chains with the fancy premises and gimmicks (you pay for this in the excessive fees and lack of service). Unless there is change, it is only a matter of time before online agents take over the market place. Only agents such Amber Courts who can offer something more and actually care about the interests of their clients are able to survive. If you ever need to let or sale a property in the Birmingham area, don't waste you time and money with the others; you cannot go wrong with Stuart and his team.

Arranged a viewing for Saturday morning and received a confirmation email. Turned up for the viewing on time for the tenant to tell us the property had already been let. What agent could do to change your mind?
They just need to work on their customer service, if they had bothered to try and contact us I might not be so irritated.

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
