INCOMPETENT, SHAMBOLIC AND DISHONEST. We are landlords and in two months we did not have one single lead from them. We found our own tenants from our own advertisements and were receiving on average one enquiry per day. When we received these applicants we passed them onto Kensingtons. We had two who wanted to rent our property and Kensington Homes lost us both of them. We then found a third and Kensingtons took their money for referencing and for a deposit. The applicants wanted to come in the next day and pay their referencing fees and the deposit the following week. We were happy to take the property on the basis of substantial referencing fees of 125 being paid. This was not good enough for Kensingtons though! They told these applicants to pay the whole lot together the following week therefore reducing the time to reference these people. These people wanted to be within two weeks. Two weeks later and the applicants were not in the property nor was any referencing done. I ended up doing the referencing myself. The tenants managed to extend their moving out date of their current property by a few days. The owner Mike was meant to call me on the Friday and did not bother despite being aware of the situation. I was forced to move my business elsewhere in order to help these poor tenants to get them in. (We have moved to James Kristian in Bootle who seem much more professional and helpful) We now have two days to get them in. Kensingtons Homes have not repaid their deposit and are refusing to reimburse their fees of 125 despite not lifting a finger. In my experience they are no less than fraudulent and all of them should be put up against a wall and shot. At the very least shut down. It is these sorts of people who give reputable agents a bad name. I cannot describe how bad these people are.
Exorbitant fees. They will not do any work for them an will make you miss your deadline.

27 Apr 2021I completely understand you me and my partner who was heavily pregnant at the time had a property and they didn't do any works or repairs on the house and we told them a lot, the kitchen ceiling caved in as well and they didn't send anyone out to repair it so it's obvious they only care about money.
