DO NOT USE THESE ESTATE AGENTS! They are unprofessional, non communicative and scammy. We have just moved out of a flat that we rented from them for a year. The main reason for moving out was that the flat was riddled with moths that were obviously destoying our knitwear. When we asked for this to be sorted, they never replied so we bought a bunch of products to try and deal with it ourselves. Needless to say, we were not successful. When we moved out we had the flat professionally cleaned as advised by Saffron. Nevertheless we had deductions from our deposit (�85 for replacing mouldy silicon in the bathroom and �25 for cleaning). I have emailed them disputing these charges on the grounds of the bathroom has no window and inadequate ventilation so the mouldy silicon could not be avoided. It is obviously a recurring problem in this flat as when we first moved in someone came to replace the previously mouldy silicon. Hence the development of mould was out of our control. The second charge I disputed on the grounds of the flat being professionally cleaned and I can only assume (as they have not replied with a justification) that the charge is for some items that they claim were not there when we moved in and were left by us, thus requiring �25 to remove them. Those items were an over the door hanger and a hot water bottle that I am 100% sure were there when we moved in. The problem is I am almost certain they will not reply and the trouble this causes makes you wonder whether it's worth pursuing it any further. It's much easier to accept defeat and let them keep the money they have essentially stolen but at the same time you want to be treated fairly. You come to expect this sort of behaviour from estate agents in general but that is a sad state of affairs. Knowing that you can never win with these people even if you are right. So the least I can do is right this review warning others to stay away and hope that at some point surely they will go out of business.

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
