I was a tenant for homelets last year and have also spoke to a number of people who have had a bad experience with them. All their concerns are is money. Their tenancy agreements DO NOT protect the tenant in anyway and only protect the landlord. They act on complaints and problems that need to be sorted in a childish and UN-professional manner and should not be allowed to let property's out. They try and give any excuse to take your damage deposit away, they are rude and basically a company full of crooks that have no concern for peoples well beings and health. The amount of stories I have heard from people getting ill from the property's homelets have rented out is ridiculous, please don't make the same mistake I once did , do not use homelets!

8 May 2012We have no record whatsoever of any tenant called Anna. We question if you have the correct letting agent or if you just a sad person with nothing better to do than try to start a sad ficticious slander campaign. However we can answer all alleged complaints as follows :- All tenants are given time to read through their tenancy agreement before signing. The tenancy agreement clearly states that the deposit is covered by the tenancy deposit scheme and the tenant can appeal against any decision if they are not happy about any deduction. The rules and regulations are given to every tenant on commencement of the tenancy agreement together with a tenancy deposit certificate which is required by law. We also issue a full detailed inventory stating the condition and contents of the property at the start of the tenancy. The tenancy deposit scheme will confirm that since the scheme started on the 6th of April 2007 we have had 2 out of 100`s of protected tenancy deposits actually go to a dispute at the end of the tenancy which proves that 99.9% of our deposits are resolved amicably and without the need for arbitration by the tenancy deposit scheme to decide who should get the deposit. Any required repairs are carried out quickly and effectively by qualified tradesmen. We have dealt with 1000`s of tenancies since 1989, have a full complaints procedure and have never received any formal complaint from any of our governing bodies or been the subject of legal action. Conclusion: Shameful way to lie and slander a respectable, responsible, professional letting agent in this ficticious manner.

I would highly recommend , been with the letting agents over ten years. All repairs are dealt with fast and efficiently. I've had no trouble getting bonds back when changing properties. They are a bad company, happy to set you up but when you have problems, they fob you off and say they will call you back and never do. For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
