After friendly professional first contact felt good to be in the hands of a professional. As a new buyer I did not understand everything regarding fees as there was a lot of info to take in. After property on market for short time a buyer was available which was good. The staff were excellent, however as I did not fully understand the terms and conditions which were not explained to me in any great detail, I found myself paying what I consider to be astronomical payments to complete house sale. When I queried I was told that's the minimum fees and basically had no option but to pay as I had signed an agreement. This is fair enough but when I explained that these terms and conditions were not fully explained to me and the moneys they were asking for was not my initial understanding of the agreement when they were explained to me by the estate agent, I was basically fobbed off and told well that's the terms and conditions you agreed and signed up to. Very disappointing. would not use them again as I think my vulnerability of little knowledge of the property market and estate agents was used to the agents benefit. If I had known and fully understood with better explanation of fees by agent I would probably have taken my business elsewhere.
Extremely high fees for the selling price of my property. I now understand why they are loved in the same way as the tax man from Inland Revenue.

Extremely high fees for the selling price of my property. I now understand why they are loved in the same way as the tax man from Inland Revenue.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
