I strongly recommend landlords and tenants alike steer well clear of this company. Their focus is on cash and they have no regard for the health and well being of tenants, as well as for the condition of the houses they are renting. I live with 3 others and we have been complaining of a rising damp issue since April 2016. They have so far refused to send round specialists to deal with the issue and keep sending their 2 incompetent handy men who have no expertise in identifying or dealing with a rising damp issue to save on the pennies. This has been going on for so long we've had to get environmental health officer involved as there was no other way to get them to address this properly as far as we could see. The environmental health officer discovered the electrics had no earth wire and ordered them to fix this. The estate agents then lied, saying this had been looked and and dealt with by a qualified electrician, only for the environmental health officer to discover when testing the electrics yet again, that no earth wire was present. It's clear they don't care about the safety of their tenants so long as they are getting their rent money. The house has also had a mouse infestation issue since we moved in 2 years ago but they will go to any length to avoid getting an exterminator in. We feel so helpless in this situation, we've had to ask for the landlords details and they ignored this request despite it being the law to provide this within 21 days of asking. They also tend to just turn up at the property unannounced, which is unfair on us all. Landlords, tenants, you have been warned. We'll be moving out as soon as the contract comes to and end and we will be taking them to a small claims court as they have made the last 5 months of our lives a living hell.

28 Jul 2017I have used this agency for years. They are an excellent agency. And there agents are extremely polite and 100% honest. They have always bent over backwards to deal with all problems within 24 hours and have proven themselves to be excellent communicators. There are always two sides to every story. I'd like to hear Absolute Livings version of the events too. Also nearly all mice infestations are caused by tenants who don't clean their homes properly and then want to point the finger at everyone else when they see a mouse! The problem with the younger generation is that they've been 'spoon fed' and have no idea how to take care of a rental property. They throw a fit when the slightest thing goes wrong and never bother to read or digest what their responsibilities are in the Contract. I also never seen so many filthy tenanted properties - never cleaned, washing up left all over the place, food particles over the floor. Lord have mercy and make them grow up!!!
