My wife and I bought a house through Hartleys and they are the first agents i have dealt with that actually do the job well. I mainly dealt with Sue and Amanda both of whom were professional and friendly. Our house purchase went smoothly and we would sell using them in the future

I use them as a lettings agent and they are absolutely useless! Be prepared to sort everything yourself - it doesn't matter how many times you call them, the job will just be put away and they'll start over with the same questions every time you see them. Fees are ok but you get absolutely nothing in return.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
