They are very poor at communicating. I was standing outside the property with my disabled relative waiting for the estate agent Mark to turn up and he didn't. When i called up, his excuse was he couldn't find the key and wanted to re-arrange. I was standing out in the cold with my disabled relative and he didn't have the decency to make a call in advance when they had my number. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and didn't care. No wonder they aren't getting many customers returning back to them - had to go with Foxtons who were much more professional and who did CARE about their customers
What agent could do to change your mind?
Mark should have the decency to apologise as it takes a real man to do that and call in advance if he wants to re-arrange the appointment. He should have at least made the journey when he couldn't be bother as he was only 5/10mins away from the property to say that he couldn't find they keys. Lastly when an issue arrives with a disabled person concerned he should have taken the issue more seriously. Marvel Estates didn't take any notice regarding the fact a disabled person was standing out in the cold.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
