I rented a flat. I was flagrantly lied to, being told upon collection that the area to the rear of the building was for refuse, only to find out it belonged to the shop downstairs and there was no actual place to store refuse. We got bins from the council which were placed outside but were swiftly stolen. Cycle repeated until the end of the tenancy. They have also held the deposit for 40+ days for no apparent reason and give some cock-and-bull story each time to delay it, such as 'our computers are not working', when all that is required is an instant bacs transfer. Clearly holding on until the end of the month to register the interest in their account. Avoid at all costs.
