Your Property Ladder

I arranged a viewing for my husband at a rental property with a lady called Jane. The viewing was for 3.30. My husband got stuck in a bit of traffic so rang me at 3.35 to ask me to ring jane to let her no her was 2 minutes away. When I rang the office a gentleman told me she was out I explained my husband was meeting jane but he was a little late and could he contact her to let her know. My husband turned up rang the office 3 times & left messages an no one answered as he wanted to know the number of the property & wanted to find out if Jane was still at the property. After waiting 15 minutes my husband left it was another 30 minutes before the office rang him back & they left a message as my husband was in a meeting. The following day I rang Jane to see if I could rearrange the viewing & I also explained that if she had contacted my husband she would have known he was a few minutes away. Her abrupt response was 'we do not contact people to chase them he had & viewing at 3.30 but didn't turn up, I haven't got time to wait around I'm a very busy person'. I said 'I appreciate you're busy but the flat was ideal & most probably would have rented it'. She responded 'well the flat has now been snapped up & he should have been on time as I told you I had a viewing on the property before your husband'. It's fair to say I would never contact this agent again I found Jane's manner very rude & abrupt. Being in customer services myself I wouldn't dream of speaking to someone the way she did.
