The worst 6 months of my life. DO NOT LET WITH KAREN SYKES. The moving in fees are a rediculous price, when viewing the look down there nose at you, the first day we moved in our keys were broke and we were Locked in all night till there office opened the next day, the cooker is broken and they still haven't fixed it, we had a leaking shower, the plumber said it had happened before and needs stripping out and redoing, Karen Sykes have never contacted us about sorting this or the black marks its caused to the carpets, there are fag burn on the carpet from the previous tenants., and they will not replace it, they do 6weekly checks on the property and make you feel on edge, you can't relax in your own home, they sponge as much money as possible out of you, the out of hours contacts are never available, the staff are the rudest people I have ever meet, they tell you one thing one day and go back on there word the next, they called to say people will be viewing the property in 2 days when we haven't even started moving out yet, you have to pay cleaning fees when you leave plus a leaving fee (what the hell for?) just the worst experience of my life. I would rather live in a squat than ever rent from Karen Sykes again.

This agent is appalling. They have messed me about for months. They use legal terms to threaten both my tennents and myself, just to try to make us do what they want. They could have listenen to me, sometimes the nice thing to do is put your hand up, admit you have done a poor job and just walk away!

Was aware that contract required professional carpet clean and professional cooker clean. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
