The only reason I have given Etimon 1 star is that I couldn't give a 0 star rating. It is impossible to provide worse service to tenants than they do. Everything is dragged out as long as it can be, repairs take months to happen if they even do happen, and if they do happen it's done in the cheapest way possible. The only way I can describe the staff is incompetent and lazy, and I've dealt with 10 different members of staff in less than 2 years due to their horrendous employee turnover. I can't remember ever being happier than the day I officially no longer had to live in one of their flats, and I sincerely hope I never have to deal with them again. I cannot warn you to stay away from this company enough, unless you enjoy living in a terribly maintained property, having your emails and phone calls ignored, and just feeling like you're completely unimportant.
Far too expensive for the service they provide

25 Jan 2017Hi Max, I'm sorry you and your Co tenant feel we have not given good service during your tenancy. I would like to address your points noted. While I understand that there were some maintenance issues I believe any reported to us were resolved. The property you were staying in is HMO registered, and has successfully completed HMO Renewal. It certainly did not fail, or has ever failed the HMO application, you can directly contact Glasgow City Council HMO department and they can confirm this information to you. I can assure you the property was up to the strict HMO standards otherwise our landlord would have not been granted the licence. You are also correct in stating that during your tenancy we had had staff changing, but only 2 new staff members started work at Etimon, however this should not have affected your tenancy or communication in anyway, any repairs outlined were still completed. I would also like to point out that we have very low staff turnover as it stands. I would also like to address that you were staying in our properties for more than 1 year, should you have not been happy you wouldn't have stayed for this long. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
