We placed on offer July 2015, on a property with a short 3 person chain. However the were problems with one end finding a new property. Mann constantly assured us we were safe and our offer had been accepted. So naively we trusted and let a lot of property's go by. In January 2016 we had been ready to exchange for some time, having paid for surveys and incurred solicitors fess, we were informed that the person at the other end had pulled out and that our vendor now needed another �20k to proceed with the sale. Despite the assurances from Mann, we were not safe and now feel very aggrieved and out of pocket, by their willingness to say anything to keep a chain together.
