Spent £482 and nothing to show for it, awaiting resolution. Russell purposefully mislead us into a house sale when the vendor wasn't ready to sell. Prior to this Brendon never called us back after a viewing, never replied to emails. We started talking to Natalie who was great, honest about the vendor's and started conversations with vendor, but she left the branch. That's when Russell just placed a form in front of us for us to sign, I asked is the vendor seeking now, he nodded his head and said she was. Then followed lots of emails and calls chasing Sharman Quinney for documents which never came to because the vendor wasn't ready. But in the meantime we paid Sharman Quinney mortgages a fee, Mortgage provider a fee, conveyances a fee. Unprofessional, never called (apart from Natalie) back until I complained to head office.

Never ever buy a house through sharman quinney. We paid out �600 for a broker who didn't get us a mortgage and took 6 weeks for this too! Now our circumstances have changed and its cost us the house because he took so long! His attitude stinks and he's the rudest man I've ever met. He'll blame... Read Full Review
Hidden in plain sight charges everywhere. Solicitors give you an itemised quote but then add extra charges in lengthy paragraphs that suggest you might have to pay extra but don't tell you which of them apply to you! Why not put supposed compulsory ID checks in the breakdown bill they send!!!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
