We Let Properties

Wayne Eastman of We Let Properties has been instrumental in my decision to further invest in buy to let property in Manchester. I first met Wayne in April 2014 after contacting him directly after reading other reviews from this website. I was looking to do my first buy to let and chose Manchester as the city to do it. However, I needed to know more about how this would work, what properties rent best, which are the best areas etc.. Immediately Wayne came across as personable, knowledgeable and full of good advice. I arranged to view some properties and Wayne offered to come along and give advice on each one. As I live abroad I needed to blitz them all in one day and Wayne gave up his day to do this with me. Based on the advice I got from Wayne I bought a one bedroom place in the heart of Manchester and it's worked out really well. The We Let Property team are very professional and the service I have had from them has been top class! So much so that in March 2016 I bought 2 more buy to lets. By this time I'd built up such a trust in Wayne that I didn't even see the properties. Wayne went along for me to the ones I'd picked out from Rightmove and as a result of his advice and the pictures he took and sent me I discounted some and put offers in on others. The 2 were completed end March and Wayne had the one without a current tenant in it on the market the VERY NEXT DAY after completion! During the vetting phase for this property Wayne rang me and told me about a potential tenant that looked ok on paper but that a few things were not gelling together - reluctant to give references...wanted to pay 6 months up front... etc.. Based on Wayne's advice and my own aversion to risk I discounted this tenant and Wayne found a new tenant in a matter of days. This is the type of advice and service you want from your letting agent!! As you can tell I've been very happy with Wayne and the team and without hesitation would highly recommend. Update 2024: Betanie Evans has been excellent in providing top quality service for any issues needing dealing with and providing quality periodic reports (incl lots of photos) on the status of the properties I have rented with Wayne and his team as part of their service.
