These agents are shocking! We have had numerous problems with our property including fleas which lasted for 3 months as they didnt get them treated properly. Followed by a broken boiler over the Christmas period which we had to get fixed and pay for as they were unable to do so, this was all given the go ahead by the landlord, but when it came to paying back the £650 we had to fork out, they with-held the cheque for nearly a month, leaving us with no money. They then advertised our property without even asking if we would want to re-sign and started conducting viewings without our knowledge - letting themselves into the property as and when they chose with no notice given. I would very very strongly advise against anyone renting properties through them. Having spoken to other agents since then, it is quite clear that the owner of the agency do not care about tenants at all and is as tight fisted as they come. He has a bad reputation in the estate agent circle generally.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
