Having had issues that require attention, the agents are slow to respond, even don;t provide the written 24hr notice as required (detailed in the tenancy agreement). When i queried this, they ignore the email and do not respond. Even had an emergency at 18:30 on a Wednesday evening, the protocol was to leave a message (out of hours) as messages are constantly checked, even sent an email too confirming i had left a message. No one responded until the office opened the next day. I challenged the fact that no one is manning the 24 hr emergency number and to provide a number that will be answered to which my communicaton (unsurprisingly) was ignored - a response for which i still await. They appear to be very professional when looking to rent out the property, friendly and cooperative, but once signed up, they are the complete opposite - the word 'cowboys' spring to mind!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
