Having bought my property 5 years ago from Sinnott Green, I decided to use them to sell. I dealt with Tom (for the second time) and found him to be warm, polite and personable, and very easy to talk to. When Tom wasn't in the office, Lesley was equally good and knew what was going on. I was notified at all times of viewings with plenty of notice given usually. However, on two occasions, I was asked to show someone round myself because it was out of their working hours. Considering that my neighbour's flat was also on the market at the same time, I couldn't help but notice that their agent was waiting for the viewer themselves - it wasn't out of their hours! I found this to be quite disappointing. The other major disappointment that I had was the amount of time it took to get a buyer. I had plenty of viewings, but hardly received any feedback from them. I was getting very frustrated and things only improved once I made it clear that I would be terminating their agency as soon as I could give notice on the initial 12 week agreement. With two days to go before I could give Sinnott Green my notice, I suddenly had not one but two buyers making rival offers! Maybe this was just a coincidence, maybe I am being cynical, but I found it to be an interesting turn of events. Once I had found my buyers, Tom was very good at keeping me informed of how the sale was progressing and kept in good contact in the days leading up to the exchange. I just found the time that I had the "For Sale" board up outside my flat to be a disappointing experience. Other than that, they were good.

I also note you make no mention of the enormous time and effort we spent on sorting out the problems following the down valuation on your flat from the lender. I believe without our efforts the sale would of fallen through. Also no mention of the very completive commission deal that we offered you compared to other high street agents and that I personally introduced you to a very good local solicitor who also worked extremely hard to assist with the complexity of both your sale & purchase. You mentioned verbally on the phone to me that you would recommend us to friends and family and would use our services again, so what's changed? I feel your negative review should of been aimed towards the agent dealing with your purchase due to all the stress and lack of communication you incurred and hope you will find time to leave a review on their relevant review page.

Sinnott Green works on % of Sale – I chose this above a set payment as the Agent will get the base price he can , Tom worked vey hard and got a great price for us, he earns every penny of his commission. The Solicitors McMillian Williams fees cheaper than expected.
