I was looking to rent a property in the area, enquired within however received very bad service. The young lady didn't know any information about the properties available or anything about the local area. In the end she told me to come back "when the boss is in". She could't be bothered to help she was more interested in her mobile , as she was texting all throughout on her mobile, didn't even bother to look up ! Never received such poor service. Instead I went to Martin and Co down the road where they were more than happy to help. The difference between the two estate agents is clear.

Whilst I share your frustration there are a couple of concerns I would like to share, on the day in question I had no female staff in the office and both myself and a male colleague don't recall your visit. Secondly, it's seems strange how the two other local agents are not mentioned however Martin and Co who are located on the another end of town are! is it due to the fact that I used to be employed by the same Martin and Co office, for this reason they are being mentioned?

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
