After our experience with this estate agent, I could not recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I strongly recommend you do your homework and choose a reputable company. There are many out their and it will save heartache and angst. Paul Ashton Estates:- 1:- Tried to keep the deposit, 850:00 pounds. For various things such as not leaving the flat clean and damage. Thankfully the Deposit Company saw these guys for what they are and returned my deposit in full. THE WHOLE £850:00p 2:- Tried to convince us we were responsible for repairs such as faulty door locks, the fitting of window locks and the making good of an existing socket above a cooker hob. Which were down to the company but they tried to put this onto us. 3:- Used threatening and bullying behavior and language. 4:- Were evasive and misleading as to our rights as tenants 5:- Untruthful in their submission to the Deposit Protection Scheme. This was a Statutory Declaration made in the presence of a solicitor, so they are prepared to perjure themselves to keep hold of a deposit. Basically the company is very unprofessional and you cannot trust anything they do. Please, please, please. Do your homework before you rent a property either directly or through and agent. It will save you time, money, heartache and your sanity in the long run.

This company will charge a fee for everything. Tried to change the date of the rent payment by a couple of weeks due to my salary date changing and I think for 15 minutes work we were charge £50:00
