This agency does not know that 'annual' means 12 months. They tried to tell me that they could put the rent up after 6 months because that was the 'anniversary' of the contract, not actually knowing that an anniversary is annual - 12 months not 6. Then they cancelled my deposit cheque because of a fault with the plumbing that was there when I moved in and not my fault. And I still haven't had my deposit nearly 4 weeks after the deposit was released. They are supposed to send it to me no later than 10 days after it's released. Some of the staff in the office are great but the manager does not know the English language very well.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
