Appeared to be honest, open and transparent. After final inspection of the property myself (serving in Army) and my Fiancee * set off to embark on our new posting in Camberley. The refund was not returned. Found ourselves being played off between the Landlord and Nigel Slack. There excuses were spurious and completely invalid. Out raged that this Landlord and company could be so exploitative i did my research and then traveled back to Winsford (180 miles) to confront Mr Slack at how he had been in breech of pretty much every code of conduct for the letting agents and landlords. Again, Nigel threatened that the matter would be settled in court to which i replied "Please do! Id be delighted as i am 100% certain i will win, your reputation will be in tatters, i will receive my fiances deposit back plus travel expenses and distress etc" The reputation of LMS is poor having spent a few days on my visit up to make enquirys with local business in Winsford such as hairdressers etc. Please please do not fall for LMS's well practiced patter and initial friendliness. Its a smoke screen. They are ruthless, exploitative, in breech of the code of conduct and wont think twice about holding on to your deposit if they think they can get away with it. All the evidence i have i am welcome to share. I have recorded conversations, dodgy paperwork, highligted the breechs in paperwork etc. Please contact me if you need further clarification of my claims.

Really lovely people to deal with and will do anything to make you comfortable. I had a few things that needed to be added when moving into the property and they made sure this happened.
