Worst experience with an agent. Turns out the landlord didn't really want to rent the property (he wanted to sell) But he was dealing with the pushy agent who kept the truth from us. We paid all the feesm rent deposit etc only to find out at the very last minute that the landlord had pulled out due to the fact that he never wanted to rent the property in the first place. The agent was rude and abrupt. He didn't listen to us. When we told him our budget he almost mocked us for being stingy saying 400pw!! why not push it to 450pw!! He would phone my mobile in excess of 10 times a day to the point that I had to tell him to stop calling me. After the landlord pulled out 4 weeks before move in the agent didn't apologise. He just said no problem ill find you another. No thank you! Asked he returned all our money. He didn't get the hint and continued to email properties until I got in touch to say that he needed to remove all my contact details from his system immediately! Hunters lacked any integrity and professionalism and left us without a property to move into four weeks before our current tenancy was due to expire. The agent we dealt with was like a child with no real understanding of the industry or how to deal with with customer relations. We were lucky in that nearby agency Martin and Wright were able to help us find a property quickly and efficiently to avoid us being homeless.
