The agents were fairly helpful throughout our tenancy. We had a few problems with things breaking in the flat and they were sorted out pretty quickly. My issue with Summer Green however relates firstly to their fees, I had to pay �60 twice to cover referencing for myself and then a guarantor (which I understand) on top of a fee for �240 to change the name on an existing tenancy. This is far too much for what we require from them, considering that one of the tenants that already lived there paid rent from her account anyway - so no extra direct debits were required. The second thing that annoyed me was that the key for the bike shed didn't work in the lock. It was a newish looking key so I assume it was the wrong one. After I told them about this, it became my responsibility to make my way over to Clapham (during work hours, I might add) to collect a key from their office, pay a �10 deposit and then pay to get a key cut. Good service doesn't cost a lot, especially when you're already charging exorbitant agency fees. Summer Green really need to look at their policies and make it easier for their tenants.
