LANDLORDS.. AVOID... customer service continues to deteriorate year by year since Bairstow Eves/Countrywide took over the original Alan Harvey agents. In 2013 it was the poor Management team/substandard inventory resulting in financial loss for me. Last year it took 7 months of chasing to finally get the money from deposit due to me. This year was no better. Rude, arrogant staff in branch and in Management offices of South Woodford, unanswered phone calls/unanswered email. When I rang to clarify branch details from South woodford branch for the review, branch Manager was abrupt and rude rather than apologetic. After current tenants leave I will be letting my property with another agent.

11 Mar 2019We used the Bow office, and we concur with the earlier reviews of other locations. This firm is run haphazardly, staff knowledge of workings of lettings is poor. They try to fob us off with made up rules and try to get out of amending contracts and tenancy agreements when they get it wrong. Just as well we've done this before and know how things should work. Charge us and arrange for none existent carpet cleaning, give wrong advise about insuring tenants deposits, keep hold of deposits and money due us as landlords. one instance, despite sending the office 2 separate emails 2 weeks apart giving bank details, they STILL manage to pay money to the WRONG account. Absolutely useless. They really couldn't care less. Good customer service and pride in their work is alien to them My 12 year old would do a better job then them. Avoid at all costs, as you end up chasing them and sorting problems out for tenants that they should have solved and acted upon. They get enough money on exchange for their services which is rubbish

I would not recommend this estate agents. Some of the junior staff are excellent, unfortunately the more senior staff do not set a good example.
