Halhams are useless, you have to constantly chase them when issues occur, all they are interested in is the commission from the rent. When speaking to the agents it is like dealing with muppets they contradict nearly every sentence they dream up. These clowns are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with, as when you ask about legalitys they seam to have absolutely no clue. Unless this is just acting incompetent to make you think what's the point of dealing with them, in which case they are very successful and deserving an Oscar nomination.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Yes but then issues occurred for example we went 2 months with no ensuite we had water leaks through roof when repaired decorating needed doing they weren't interested so in my opinion they rent should reflect the fact the property was not in the condition we moved int and it was not our fault

I agree, they are no better on the sales side. After 2 months I still had no contract from the vendor, just a message from Halhams 'it will go quickly once the solicitors are sorted'. I sent message it is taking too long the deal is off. No reply. Sent again week later, no reply. Next 2 months ... Read Full Review
