Worst letting agent my partner and I have ever collectively been with. Lied to us and told us the flat would be cleaned and and that a full and thorough inventory had been done. We moved into a house with thick greasy muck behind toilet and pipes, black untouched mould and dirt encrusted on windows,cupboards full of the previous tenants belongings which included his underwear and a box of wet clothes with cigarettes put out on them. It took us a solid week of taking time of work and buying tons of cleaning products and paint to get the flat into a liveable state and I still feel sick when I think about the bathroom. Akis was then rude to us on the phone when we asked if we could paint the disgusting stained walls at our own expense, just to make it feel slightly more liveable. We waited 3 months for them to install a shower curtain and had to fight for that. They also did not put our deposit into a protection scheme until 3 months in, and needed a great deal of prompting to actually do an inventory which was then clearly a recycled one from another flat as it mentioned rooms and furniture that didn't exist. We redid it for them but we payed them for this luxury.....!! Generally they have been unprofessional, rude and at times have just seemed too inept to answer basic queries via e-mail - often we would get one line e-mails back that were poorly spelt and didn't answer our query....it became almost comical. The young guy there, Kyp seems nice and was always polite, but also just utterly bewildered and scared of everything you ask him. Petya on the front desk was possibly the only professional person there. So in short - run a mile! Letting agents have a bad reputation because of people like this.
