Found him to be an uncaring landlord. Moved in to a half finished house, a week later than initially promised, with no flooring laid in the kitchen or hall, no TV, no hob, and the house remained a building site as these were completed over the next week or two. (House was advertised as 'luxury' and 'fully furnished'). Provided wardrobes, TV unit and hoover as though it was a favour, and he hadn't been intending to originally. No mod-cons that would make it luxury (e.g. dishwasher, tumble dryer), the kerb was neither lowered not ramped so housemates' cars' suspension and wheels suffered. Repeated plumbing problems with the house. No bedside tables, coffee table, bathroom heating or extractor, toilet roll holders, towel rails, or even chairs for the kitchen table provided initially, until we started getting angry about the situation. The finish throughout the house (it was renovated, and all housemates moved in at the same time) was distinctly unprofessional. On numerous occasions listened to our complaints and promised to act but didn't - it took 4 months to get the windows cleaned even though they were filthy when we moved in.
