Anglia lettings manage the property next door to the property I live in in Cambridge. The property is in a state of disrepair with piles of bricks / rubbish outside in which there is a rats nest (the rats are quite cute, but a public health risk). I asked them to do something about the rubbish some months ago and they did indeed send somebody, who made an attempt to clear their property, but who also entered my garden, without permission, and cut down most of my hedge, causing damage to the underlying fence. I have tried to contact them by email and by phone on several occasions since May 2011 (it is now September). Each time they say they will "look into it," but never get back to me. This is absolutely unacceptable. It appears that if you have a problem with Anglia lettings they will not even acknowledge it, let alone attempt to solve it. I would advise potential tenants to be extremely cautious about renting from this company.
They could make an attempt to acknowledge my grievance

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
