I called the agent regarding a flat I've seen advertised. The person on the phone did not seem very knowledgeable about the flat nor the renting process. When I explained my difficult circumstances he told me he would speak to the landlord. If the landlord was ok he would call me back, if not then 'we won't bother calling you'. This is one of the rudest responses I have ever got from an agency and I have no trust in an agency that feels it is a bother to call a customer. If they can't be 'bothered' to make a simple phone call, who knows what else they can't be 'bothered' to do.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Be more polite.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. So rude and they will do anything and everything to take your money from the deposit. For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
