ZERO STAR RATING!! Please stay clear of this agency. I never post complaints but feel so passionately about this company I had to let other people know to make sure people steer well clear. Ask your prospective letting agent who they contract to manage the property and if they say Countrywide politely says 'No thanks' and leave. it's not worth your time or money getting involved in this joke of a company. In Warrington this applies to Bridgfords. I had a broken hot tap that meant I had to keep turning on the mains water supply when I need water. for over two months this went on and they did nothing. Apparently they couldn't get hold of the landlord yet when I wanted to stay and extra month miraculously they managed to get hold of the Landlord. When I did leave the property it took nearly 6 months to get part of my deposit back. I'm still disputing the cleaning and dilapidation (I was only in the property for 7 months and left it spotless). They still haven't sent me photos or a receipt from the cleaning company as evidence of the £100 cleaning they needed to do. It has now passed a period where they accept formal complaints!! What a joke. They want me to 'negotiate' with them and settle on a fair price! absolutely unbelievable. Disgraceful, rude customer service. Never respond to your phone calls and pass you about from one person to the next. They shouldn't be getting away with this.

What agent could do to change your mind?
A friends Daughter wanted to move in the apartment after I moved out, She was buying my furniture so basically I'd walk out and she would walk in, she was charged the full £600.00 to £700.00 of fees on top of the £1000.000 rent/bond!

I used this agent for about 5 years, in various guises (Bridgfords, Countrywide), etc. There are not enough adjectives to describe what a terribly inadequate, unprofessional service they provided. Without doubt the worst company I have ever come across. Customer service is abismal. If you have any problems and complain they will do nothing. Took me 40 days to get part of my deposit back.
