The negotiation for letting our property was poorly managed & communicated both to ourselves & our prospective tenants due to a changeover in agents & things falling thro the cracks. We felt we had little choice on the terms as a result of this & accepted a lower rental value than we would have otherwise. During the management of our property the property manager had to be followed up frequently to get responses to our queries (eg. Has the electricity been changed over, do we need a gas safety inspection, what are our tenants intentions re lease extension etc) and did not give us confidence that matters were in hand. He frequently appeared not to have our interests as landlords as his priority & had to be pushed along where issues arose. We spent a lot of time & effort in dealing with the property ourselves from overseas which we feel should have been covered by the property manager. When we ended the proprty management arrangement as the tenants moved out it was clear that a superficial exit inspection was carried out & our interests were not represented. Again the onus was upon us to put a claim for costs from the bond together & push for the matter to be finalised often with resistance from the agent to our wishes. Overall - poor standard or no service for much of the time - would not recommend you engage this agency to manage or sell your property.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
