Silverrooms Ltd is totally inefficient, unprofessional, and WILL steal from you. Let me explain, - despite my (and my flatmates emails), we all had to live without locks on our bedroom doors for 6months+ - the properties DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE ONLINE PICTURES, you will be shocked - the staff is sneaky, and I say that because I received an email confirming the reimbursement of my deposit (which requested feedback from me) despite the fact that 75£ was missing from the total amount. When I asked why, staff member Alice told me that it was for cleaning purposes eventhought they had NO PROOF (PICTURES) to show and they NEVER EVER mentioned that money had to be taken out for that reason. They litterally just stole money, pretended that nothing happened, and of course never gave it back to this day. And worse, they were asking for my pictures of the vacated room to 'check' if they did any mistake as if they were some sort of legal entity in this matter, like, really? - I asked for a manager number multiple times with email, and that unprofessional, arrogant lady (ALICE) never gave me any answers. - they did it to my flatmates and probably to every person that rent with them although the properties are DISGUSTING and very UNSAFE. - you will feel awful living in their properties, not heard, paying like a milking cow and treated as such. -I can't stress enough that although they might have properties in popular areas of London, they will not help if anything happens and try to accuse you of the issue instead - I basically had the worst time with these people and I chose to speak out. Please people be careful, don't get caught in their awful manipulation!!! Stay away from them if you do not wanna lose money. They are liars, they will say something and then deny it and they will find excuses to charge you on damages not caused by you and other fees.
