Mr Foster - you happened to be the most aggressive prospective viewer I have had the displeasure of talking with in 18 years and were the subject of discussion in the office before I spoke with you after your four phone calls on Saturday. No we did not "steal your viewing slot" we cancelled it because, as I tried to explain more than once, we had people on file and current tenants who had expressed firm interest long before your enquiry and in fact the landlord instructed us yesterday to grant a tenancy to one of these. We had over 30 requests for viewing on the property and it is not practical to carry out 30 viewings in current restricted times and all viewings booked have now been cancelled. I was also not impressed to find that you had unlawfully entered the grounds of the property to look round without permission and as someone who allegedly holds a law degree you should know better. I would also point out that you were very clear that the person looking for the property was someone you are a carer for now it seems it is your girlfriend and like much of our conversation the story does not hold water. Perhaps if your attitude had not been so confrontational and aggressive with two members of staff and myself we would have put you on file to look for a property in future. You were not told that" i didn't have to please anyone, only my landlords!" what I said was I am employed by my landlords to find good tenants and the best job I can do for them is if we have a current good tenant looking for a different property is to make sure we keep our good tenants as they are known to us. Many of our tenants have had several properties with us as needs change and we pride ourselves on our excellent relationship with both landlords and tenants.
