Grosvenor Berkeley were used to setup the rents, perform references, inventory, and deposits for the property I rented, and act as a point of contact. A different contractor were used for maintenance. I didn't have any specific problems, just several inconveniences: - Their office is located in a gated estate block, so not normally accessible or can have post sent to them. - The inventory was done 2 months before moving in, and while additional pictures had been emailed to us, the inventory was not recreated with them included (as there were new stains and signs of damage), so when it came to moving out, the maintenance company refused to take into account the new pictures. Perhaps I should have used due diligence to ensure the newer pictures were in the actual document, but GB should have created a brand new one instead. - They didn't provide all the appropriate details needed to send the rent to the landlord instead of them, so one months' rent went to the wrong place first time - They partnership with other parties that phoned and encouraged us to change energy and insurance providers which was just annoying - Communication with them started well and then we got very little responses and confirmations of things - but all things did get addressed. - The deposits weren't protected properly until 6 months into the tenancy. Regardless of this, we did manage to get everything resolved mutually in the end.
