I rented a flat from Coulters for 10 months. In these 10 months, I experienced a number of issues including no working wifi every week or two (which was paid for in advance), lack of electricity to the flat for 3 days which meant no hot water or lights or heating; This problem would have taken longer to fix if not for the fact that I contacted an electrician from Scottish Power after Coulters repeatedly failed to do so. The flat was not in a great condition to begin with, and we were never walked through any documents including the inventory and contract. Any issues that came up meant I needed to call coulters, but it seems they only pick up about 20% of the time. When I leave a voicemail as their answering machine suggests, they never phone back. Email communications were similarly hit and miss, with emails frequently being completely ignored until days later. I would not recommend using Coulters to rent from.
